It utilizes a partially terminated controller harness, has an optional rebuilt transmission for a lower cost alternative, and utilizes a low voltage architecture which can keep battery costs down. The manual transmission can be driven in a single gear on around town trips, no shifting or use of clutch required.
The Electra Five package included the completed Hyper 9 system mated to a manual transmission complete with universal modular motor mounts, making it easy to mount this package to most vehicles off the shelf.
