EDub Conversions has redefined classic camper electrification with their latest plug-and-play system for VW T2s and earlier models (1950–1979).
This next-gen kit features four electric motor options offering up to three times the power of the original engine and a single 40 kWh, 53 kWh, or 62kWh battery box delivering up to 180 miles of real-world range. Three charging options are also available - 3.3kW, 6.6kW, or 70 kW - depending on vehicle needs.
The sealed, safety-integrated design includes an Orion BMS, rapid charging, and support for off-grid features like heating, AC, and onboard inverters.
Built for ease of installation, the entire system bolts to factory mounting points—no cutting, welding, or fabrication required. The custom subframe and modular layout mean one person can install or remove the powertrain in about an hour.
