Ampere EV Base Atom Drive System

The Atom Drive System its designed as a holistic EV powertrain, from the new battery cells to the touchscreen controls. It is engineered for drivability, performance, and longevity, and includes all of the components you need to simplify the build process – we do the engineering and tuning, and you do the installation.

The Atom Drive system can be configured with a 42 kWh or 84kWh battery pack, several motor options at different power outputs, and motor packaging options of inline or transaxle arrangements. The Atom Drive System also offers a full suite of vehicle features such as a touchscreen display, DC fast charging, cabin heat, cabin AC compressor, and battery heating.

Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) Pre-programmed & Fully Calibrated:

• Tuned for drivability – tested on the track and benchmarked against the best-selling OEM EVs
• Integrated controls for all of the included and optional components

Plug & Play High Voltage Junction Box:

• HV made easy with Plug-&-Play simplicity

Pre-terminated HV and LV harnesses:

110V Level I / 220V Level II Charger & Port:

• 6.6kW Onboard Charger with Integrated 1.5kW DC-DC Converter
• J1772 Charging Port with Locking Actuator
• OPTIONAL UPGRADE:
• Level 3, DC-to-DC Fast Charging 
• NACS (Tesla Plug) Coming in Q4 2024
