Learn the ins and outs of electric vehicles at Legacy EV's EV Fundamentals Certification Bootcamp!
Learners will wire, program, commission, tune, and practice fault finding in various EV systems using fully functional EV training benches. High Voltage Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is demonstrated and used in this class during hands-on exercises.
Included in the Bootcamp is a Level 2 High Voltage Safety Assessment and access to Legacy EV's virtual Certified Technician Program to become certified by Legacy EV in performing gas-to-electric vehicle conversions.
Before attending Bootcamp, you must complete the virtual Certified Technician Program coursework, which typically takes 25 hours. This is to ensure learners have foundational knowledge of EV powertrains and high voltage safety so they are able to maximize their in-person learning experience.
Who Should Attend?
Anyone interested in learning about EVs. This includes:
- Do-it-yourself hobbyists thinking about performing a gas-to-electric conversion.
- People interested in starting a gas-to-electric conversion business.
