The Transportation world is changing from petroleum to electrified vehicles.  This change has created an urgent need to transform the service technology skill set, from a mechanical base to an electronic base with specific training and education in electric-drive vehicle technology and network topology. 

St. Clair College of Applied Arts and Technology has developed a premier program in electric-drive vehicle education, service, repair, conversion, and research.  Enlisting input from the Electric Vehicle industry associates and best-practices procedures, St. Clair College of Applied Arts and Technology developed a relevant comprehensive course in Electric Vehicle automotive technology and electronic technology with an emphasis on electric-drive vehicles.

Students will learn from prominent EV faculty, using a cohesive set of technician level high impact practices, team-based learning, internships and co-ops. Utilizing state of the art interactive applied modules, students gain the tools and knowledge to become the next generation of automotive service technician masterminds.

St. Clair College is home to programs in the areas of Health Sciences, Community Studies, Engineering Technology, Skilled Trades and Business and I.T. There are on-campus residences and a SportsPlex, offering student fitness training. 

St. Clair College supports a comprehensive sports program through our Saints Athletics club. There are 18 varsity teams that compete in men’s baseball, women’s fastball, men’s & women’s outdoor soccer, men’s & women’s indoor soccer, men’s & women’s volleyball, men’s & women’s basketball, cross country, men’s & women’s badminton, men’s & women’s golf and men’s & women’s curling.
