Tempe, AZ, March 22, 2022 — In Legacy EV’s second visit to the famed Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction, the electric vehicle conversion company’s 1966 Cadillac Deville secured a coveted Barrett-Jackson Top 50 Vehicle Award. This year, Legacy EV featured six cars at the event, less than one year after the company unveiled its 1971 Chevy C10 and 1965 Volkswagen Beetle at the same event in 2021.
Legacy EV is the leading Electric Vehicle (EV) company offering universal EV conversion kits and supporting businesses in converting nearly any vehicle to electric power. The company also supports businesses by integrating new EV systems and providing EV education and training courses for auto-shops, technical schools, and more. Legacy EV equips shops with the parts and training they need in order to complete EV conversions themselves, helping more car owners make the transition to electric power without losing the car they love.
“We’re building something special with Legacy EV, and this is only the beginning,” said Rob Ward, CEO and Founder, Legacy EV. “As more electric vehicles appear on the market, it is vital that car collectors have an option if they decide to transition to electric power, and they are turning to us to make the switch. With demand for electric cars rising exponentially, we’re continuing to train mechanics across the U.S. to make these conversions locally.”
This year’s Barrett-Jackson was a significant milestone for Legacy EV, and the company will build on the momentum over the course of the year.
In 2022, Legacy EV will:
-
Partner with various auto-shops and part manufacturers to deliver the best electric vehicle conversions in the industry
-
Train hundreds of mechanics on how to install Legacy EV kits, making electric vehicle conversion for classic cars more accessible than ever before
-
Continue to support mechanics, classic car experts, and enthusiasts in converting beloved classic cars to electric power across the country
-
Facilitate electric vehicle fleet conversions for municipalities and private organizations alike
The market for electric vehicles will continue to grow, and the collector car market is no different. With 16 different kits and five distinct motor manufacturers to choose from, Legacy EV is reshaping the future of the classic car marketplace.
